Well week 4 is almost here and there a lot of big match-ups again this week. As always I am picking the best four so here we go with my predictions for the week.
(2-1) Baltimore Ravens at(3-0) Pittsburgh Steelers
Who has the better defense? That's an argument to be had for both teams. I honestly think the Ravens have the all around better team and I think they will hand Pittsburgh their first lost of the season. Charlie Batch was good this week, but you also got to take into consideration who they played. Old man Batch is going to get hammered by Ray Lewis.
(2-1) Seattle Seahawks at (1-2) St. Louis Rams
This a very intriguing game because both teams are kind of hit and miss. Both teams also have the potential to be great football teams. I am going to have to go with Seattle on this one because Pete Carroll has his team motivated and ready to go. Plus the offense is starting to come together again. Seahawks win a nail-biter
(1-2) Washington Redskins at (2-1) Philadelphia Eagles
Donovan McNabb returns home to Philly after being traded to the Redskins in the off season. I think McNabb is great, but Michael Vick looks awesome right now. The offense of the Eagles will out duel the offense of the Redskins. Vick will spoil his former teammates return.
(2-1) New England Patriots at (2-1) Miami Dolphins
I love divisional games, they always are the most intense, much like the Packers and Bears game was this week. I really don't know what to make of either team right now. Both lost to the Jets, but that doesn't mean anything. I guess because it's in Miami I am going with Miami. That Miami crowd will keep them motivated.
As always check back for my week in review on Monday's. It's going to be another interesting week in the NFL.

NFL Week 3 Review
What a week it was in the NFL, with lots of close games and one upset that has people talking. I've said it all preseason long and I am saying it again, the New Orleans Saints have been figured out. If they play against a tough defense they will not win. No one could figure out how to stop their high-powered offense from last year but now they do. Atlanta proved that on Sunday. However it did not help that Reggie Bush was injured and now Pierre Thomas might be too.
The Minnesota Vikings and Dallas Cowboys got their first win of the season. Brett Favre still managed to suck and beat the Lions at the same time. Dallas finally showed up to play against Houston but I don't think the win will gain them any momentum.
There are only 3 undefeated teams left which is less then last year at this point. They are Pittsburgh, Chicago and Kansas City. If you would told me these three teams would be undefeated I would have called you an idiot. This is a total shock for me considering the issues the Steelers have, the inconsistency from Jay Cutler(which obviously has been corrected) and how bad the Chiefs were last year. I am sure all three teams will lose won pretty soon but you never know.
I did very well in fantasy football this week, I won with all three teams.

On a side note, I scored the most points out of any other team on both of these leagues. I was pretty impressed.

The Current State of WWE
I am going to start off by saying that this past weeks Smackdown had the best ending to any WWE TV show since the night Ric Flair had his farewell after Wrestlemania 24. That was nearly 2 and a half years ago. Bringing Paul Bearer back and having a great feud with Kane and Undertaker has actually had me interested again. However that doesn't make up for all the wrong's WWE has done.
Yes I have complained about no blood and PG but it goes beyond that. The fact we have had the same wrestlers, and same matches shoved down our throats for nearly three years is getting old. I see some similarities with the attitude era right now. WWE did their best to shove The Rock down our throats but it was Stone Cold who became the real superstar and the real legend of that era. I see it now with WWE shoving John Cena down our throats but in the end Randy Orton is going to be the Stone Cold of this era. WWE fans have always loved an anti-hero and that's what Orton is.
The things I applaud WWE on are making Bryan Danielson a champion and finally recognizing great talent. I always like the idea of unifying the U.S. and Intercontinental Title as well as the WWE and World Heavyweight Title. It would make those titles a lot more prestigious then what they are now.
WWE has a lot of creative problems right now. They need to create new feuds, new stars and go back to the old ways of a good wrestling match where if there is blood then so what. Remember the old saying blood, sweat and tears. WWE doesn't have that attitude anymore. WWE has the mindset of predictable, boring, and stale.
WWE dropped a whole point last Monday in the ratings and that should tell you something. Don't blame it all on Monday Night Football. The fact of the matter is, people are disinterested and bored with the product. Eventually no one will be watching at all. Hopefully someday WWE will get back to what they once were. In the mean time I am bored and disinterested with WWE and until they start showcasing the right talent then I will start being interested again. Good luck WWE, because right you need it.

College Football Weekly
Well not much happened this week in College Football. There were a few close games and and an upset or two. Alabama barely escaped Arkansas, Oregon State gave Boise State a run for their money, and UCLA beat Texas. Auburn also beat South Carolina which should also shake the BCS standings a little bit. There are some more great games on this week including:
No. 21 Texas vs. No. 8 Oklahoma
No. 11 Wisconsin at No. 24 Michigan State
No. 7 Florida at No. 1 Alabama
No. 9 Stanford at No. 4 Oregon
No. 22 Penn State at No. 17 Iowa
Virginia Tech at No. 23 North Carolina State
Tennessee at No. 12 LSU
There are some games that have some major BCS implications. If all the lower ranked and non ranked teams win (which I doubt they will) it could have a huge effect on the standings. It's going to be a great weekend for football. Check back next week for more on the standings in the BCS.

Thoughts on the New "Ron Stehouwer" Football Stadium
Well because I am from the city of Wayland Michigan I only find it fitting that I should write about the new football stadium up at the high school. I attended the opening last night and I must say I was impressed. The stadium featured a new entrance, concessions, track and more space for people to gather at when they are not watching the game. It use to be crowded at the stadium but not anymore. I was really excited to be at the grand opening of the new stadium.
And for those who are wondering who Ron Stehouwer is, he grew up in Hopkins Michigan and attended Colorado State University. He then went on to play in the NFL with the Pittsburgh Steelers for five years. Little did I know, Ron and I share the same birthday, February 4. He's one of the most successful people to ever come out of the Wayland area and deserves to have his name in that stadium. Congratulations to Ron, the Wayland Union School District for making it all possible. It is definitely more enjoyable to be at a Wayland football game now.

Thoughts on TNA Impact and Reaction 9/23/2010
I have to begin with saying that I love TNA wrestling on Thursday nights. The rivalry between EV 2.0 and Fortune is heating up. I love the emotion and the passion being shown by both sides. The first match of the night was between Abyss and Rob Terry which ended in DQ. RVD showed up to try and fight Abyss but was stopped by security.
Generation Me has had a change of heart in recent weeks, and has taken out Alex Shelley and tried taking out Chris Sabin after Sabin defeated Jeremy Buck. The Machine Guns and Generation Me are starting to build a good rivalry. I am not sure if I like the idea of turning GenME into full blown heels. All I know is they are going to tear the house down the next time they face each other.
The Pope DeAngelo Dinero has been bitter in recent weeks about not getting his fair. He got his fair share by being choked out by Samoa Joe this week. However it seems The Pope has aligned himself with Sting and Kevin Nash. How will this play out in the coming weeks?
In the Main Event, A.J. Styles took on Sabu in a Ladder Match to determine who would have advantage going into Lethal Lockdown at Bound for Glory. It's going to be Fortune (A.J. Styles, Matt Morgan, James Storm, Kazarian and Robert Roode) vs. EV 2.0 (Tommy Dreamer, Rhino, Stevie Richards, Raven and Sabu) A.J. Styles won the match with some help and you can better believe that this match will be brutal on 10-10-10.
Bound for Glory is shaping up to be really good. RVD vs. Abyss was announced for the show and I am sure their will be more big matches announced in the next two weeks. Keep checking back for more on TNA's biggest PPV of the year.

Clint Boywer's Win Comes With a Heavy Price
What was suppose to be a momentum win for Clint Boywer to open the chase has now cost him dearly. It was reported earlier this week that his car had failed post-race inspection which cost him a lot of points. He went from 2nd to 12th in the chase. Bowyers team plans to appeal but this definitely derails them. Here are the current standings:
1. Denny Hamlin 5230 ---
2. Kevin Harvick 5185 -45
3. Kyle Busch 5168 -62
4. Jeff Gordon 5155 -75
5. Kurt Busch 5144 -86
6. Jimmie Johnson 5138 -92
7. Carl Edwards 5135 -95
8. Greg Biffle 5122 -108
9. Jeff Burton 5118 -112
10. Tony Stewart 5106 -124
11. Matt Kenseth 5094 -136
12. Clint Bowyer 5045 -185
Well you can't even cheat in NASCAR because we now know what happens when you do. There are nine races left and it should be interested to see how this plays out. I just really hope Jimmie Johnson doesn't win another title. I've said it before and I will say it again, the Chase for the Cup has ruined the sport but that's another topic for another day. Stay tuned for any more developments on this.

The Cheating Yanks
Over the last two weeks there have been two separate incidents with the New York Yankees and how they play the game. Both have been against division rival the Tampa Bay Rays. The first incident was when a pitcher from the Rays pitched inside to Derek Jeter, and hit the knob of his bat. You could see it, and hear it. Jeter pretended to hurt his hand in order to get on base.
The second time is when a ball hit the dirt on a pitch and Jorge Posada pretended to hurt his foot claiming the ball hit him. If you see the replay, it's clear as day it didn't even coming close to hitting him. I can tell you this, Joe Maddon the manager of the Rays was extremely angry and I don't blame him. They are both in the middle of a pennant race and they pull that garbage. The said thing is Jeter admitted the ball didn't hit him. That's just not right by any means.
If was Major League Baseball I would have fined both players for faking something like that. Now if I was the opposing manager I would have instructed my pitcher to hit them as hard as they could and give them something to complain about. I have never liked the Yankees but this fuels my hatred for them. I use to respect Derek Jeter but I have lost a lot of respect for him for trying to cheat during in a game.
Major League Baseball need to take some sort of action against the Yankees. I am just appalled that you would even try and get away with that knowing that it's going to be shown ESPN and the analysts are going to make you look bad. Hopefully something will come out of this because it's not right. Stay tuned for more on this matter.

NFL Week 3 Preview
Well week 3 is upon us in the NFL season and I will be curious to see how Philly does now with Michael Vick as the full time starter. I really think he gives them the best chance to succeed. Jimmy Clausen is also going to be starting this week for the Carolina Panthers. It should be interesting to see how these new quarterbacks do for their teams. So on to my four games of the week.
(1-1) Atlanta Falcons at (2-0) New Orleans Saints
A lot of people are not giving Atlanta much of a chance but I think an upset is coming. The Saints offense is starting to be figured out by a lot of defenses and I think the 49ers are the first ones who have come close to exposing their offense for what it really is. Now with Reggie Bush injured, they are going to have one less option to go with. I say Atlanta in a nail biter.
(0-2) San Francisco 49ers at (2-0) Kansas City Chiefs
This game is very intriguing to me because both are very dynamic in different ways. I really think the 49ers should have beaten the Saints and for that I am picking SanFran because they are hungry for a win. The Chiefs will put up a good fight but the 49ers will get their first win of the season
(1-1) New York Jets at (2-0) Miami Dolphins
Miami maybe 2-0 but look who they played. Two teams who really aren't that good. Now they have to face the New York Jets who just won big against the Patriots. Obviously I am going with my New York Jets even without Revis. Jets all the way and another former Michigan QB gets taken down again two weeks in a row.
(2-0) Green Bay Packers at(2-0) Chicago Bears
Someone is going to have 1 lost this week and I think it's going to be the Bears. Green Bay has looked tough especially the defense they have. I am taking the Pack over the Bears and Green Bay will be 3-0 at the end of Monday night.
Those are my predictions for the week. Check back for my review on Tuesday.

NFL Week 2 Review
Well what week it was in the NFL. The Cowboys, and Vikings lost again putting them at 0-2. The Lions almost win again and Houston is 2-0. Their are a few things that really impressed me this week. The first being Michael Vick starting at Quarterback. He looked good and torched the Lions defense a few times. Great job by Vick who goes back to the bench this week, which I think is crazy but it's not my team and I am not the coach.
The second thing that impressed me was the one-handed catch Randy Moss made against the Jets. If you haven't seen this catch yet, look it up somewhere because he made it look easy. I was happy to see the Jets win and show everyone what kind of team they really are. Unfortunately this morning Braylon Edwards got arrested for a DWI so that will probably hurt the Jets big time.
The Kansas City Chiefs are 2-0 which is awesome, because I had a feeling they were going to have a decent year. They had a good draft and off season and it's start to show. The 49ers played the Saints tough last night and was really impressed with how they played on both sides of the ball. Look for the 49ers to make some noise this year.
Well now on to the fantasy part of the week. I would say I had a really bad week.

Randy Orton Wins WWE Championship at Night of Champions
Well I actually took time to watch a WWE pay-per-view last night and it wasn't as good as TNA's last PPV but it was decent. A lot of new champions crowned last night. The only non-title match last night was CM Punk vs. Big Show. It was a good solid match with Punk getting knocked out and beat in his hometown.
Dolph Ziggler continues to reign as the WWE Intercontinental Champion by beating Kofi Kingston with some help from Vickie Guerrero. This little feud between the two has been really good, and they have had some solid matches.
The match I really enjoyed was The Miz vs. Bryan Danielson. Yes, I am referring to him by his Indy name. I think the name Daniel Bryan sucks. Anyways, it was great to see WWE finally recognize great talent when it walks through the doors. Danielson is probably the best pure wrestler they have had since Angle and Benoit. Bryan Danielson will have a great career in WWE if he is used right. I am looking forward to him wrestling other guys on the roster now.
I am not even going to talk about the Womens-Divas unification title match. I am so so sick of LayCool. They are a rip off of TNA's Beautiful People and they suck at the gimmick too. The only reason McCool gets her TV time is because of who she's married to. If she was in TNA she wouldn't be able to hang with the likes of Taylor Wilde, The Beautiful People and others. I am disgusted with this. Melina has more talent then McCool ever thought about having.
The Tag Team Turmoil match was pointless. Hart Dynasty was eliminated first by the Uso's who I thought would win the match and titles. Santino and Kozloff were eliminated by the Uso's as well. Mark Henry and Evan Bourne came in eliminated the Uso's. It came down to Henry and Bourne and the final team which was Drew McIntyre and Cody Rhodes. Some people hate the pairing of these two, but I think it's a good pairing. They are both very solid wrestlers and I think McIntyre and Rhodes will have a nice run as the tag team champs. I must say though, the new belts look absolutely horrid.
In a No Holds Barred, Kane defended the World Heavyweight Title against The Undertaker. It was a knock down drag out from the opening bell. These two always have good matches but the best match they ever had was at Wrestlemania 14. Undertaker has never lost to Kane on a pay-per-view but it was a night of firsts last night. Kane defeated The Undertaker with a tombstone piledriver. I am so happy that Kane is getting the push and title reign he deserves after all these years. WWE finally has righted a wrong with Kane.
The Main Event of the evening was the 6-Pack Challenge for the WWE Championship. It was an elimination match so the last one not eliminated became champion. WWE Champion Sheamus defended against Randy Orton, John Cena, Edge, Chris Jericho and Wade Barrett. Chris Jericho was the first man eliminated ending his WWE career...for now. Edge was eliminated shortly after. When it got down to four, Nexus interfered costing John Cena another chance at winning the WWE Championship. Randy Orton took out Nexus with the help of Cena. Orton hit the RKO on Barrett, then to Sheamus to become the new WWE Champion. All I got to say is it's about time that the real superstar of WWE reigns supreme again. Remember how in the attitude era when they tried making The Rock the superstar yet Stone Cold was more popular with the fans. Well it's the same in my opinion. Orton's popularity has surpassed John Cena. Wrestling fans appreciate good wrestling and that's why I like Orton. The Viper has got the gold and I am actually somewhat excited to watch Raw again.
It was a decent showing for WWE last night but TNA's PPV's have been way better this year. Hopefully WWE can build off the momentum of Orton winning the title. We will have to see. RKO RKO RKO, The Viper has struck again.

College Football Weekly
Well it was definitely an interesting week in College Football. Some teams barely escaped with a win and those teams are Oklahoma, Auburn, Arkansas, Michigan and Wisconsin. Their were some upsets as well in which Iowa, and Houston lost. That should change the rankings a little. What a great game between Michigan and Notre Dame. I still can't Coach Dantonio called that play. Speaking of Coach Dantonio, he had a heart attack Sunday morning and is out indefinitely as coach. My thoughts and prayers are with him.
Looking on to next week their are some good match-ups to watch.
No. 1 Alabama at No. 10 Arkansas
No. 12 South Carolina at No. 17 Auburn
No. 24 Oregon State at No. 3 Boise State
No. 22 West Virginia at No. 15 LSU
I am going to go with Alabama, Auburn, Oregon State and LSU. I think their will be some shake up in the BCS standings after next week. Keep checking back on more College Football. There are a lot of great games ahead this year.

Thoughts on TNA Impact and Reaction 9/16/2010
So I watched TNA from last night and I thought it was decent. Not the greatest show they have done but certainly not the worst. I really enjoyed the match between Samoa Joe and Kevin Nash that turned into a brawl involving Jeff Jarrett and Sting. I really don't know where it's headed but it should be good.
Tommy Dreamer had a heartfelt speech towards every member of Fortune. I honestly don't think it was scripted. It was very true, and honest to what he said about each man. Unfortunately he got beat down afterwords. I am really intrigued by what they are doing with Brian Kendrick. I haven't seen him this much TV time since he was teaming with Paul London in WWE.
The match between Jay Lethal and Doug Williams was solid. Lethal is the new X Division Champion and it's well deserved. I miss the Machismo gimmick but you can do more with Lethal when he doesn't have the goofy gimmick. Jay Lethal is definitely a part of the future in pro wrestling.
The Main Event of the evening was a rematch from No Surrender. It was Kurt Angle vs. Jeff Hardy. Both men put on an absolute show once again. There was a double pin and it went to no contest. It was finally determined that it was going to be a triple threat match also involving Mr. Anderson for the vacated TNA Heavyweight Title.
Like I said overall, it was a decent Impact. RVD returns next week. Also Dixie Carter and Eric Bischoff are at odds over decision making. A lot going on leading into Bound for Glory. Keep watching Impact and Reaction to find out what happens next.

The Interstate Football League
The last few weeks, I've been hearing two of my co-workers hype up their games that they were playing in a football league. I asked them about it and found out they were in a semi-pro football league called the Interstate Football League. The Interstate League football has teams from Indiania, Ohio, and Michigan.
Both players I talk to play for the Battle Creek Blaze and they are non-profit. All their money goes to cancer awareness. I personally think that is a wonderful cause and can appreciate that type of cause. The season is over but here are the teams currently in the league.
MIDWEST FORCE
BATTLE CREEK BLAZE
INDIANA CUTTERS
INDIANA GENERALS
INDIANA HITMEN
WANEE HURRICANES
KOSCCUISKO CO. MUSTANGS
OHIO OUTLAWZ
ST. JOSEPH CO. PANTHERS
MADISON CO. PIRATES
ELKHART SHAMROCK
WEST CENTRAL WILDCATS
NOBLE CO. WOLFPAC
If you live in any of these areas I suggest you go support these athletes who do this. I've watched some of the games online and they are very competitive and they don't do it for the money. They do it for the passion, and for the love game. For more on the league go the the InterstateLeaguefootball.com

NFL Week 2 Preview
Well week 2 of the NFL season is coming soon. It should be interesting to say the least. Here are my four games of the week in no particular order.
(1-0) Baltimore Ravens at (0-1) Cincinnati Bengals
Well the Ravens just came off a game where defenses played tough and offenses struggled. The Bengals were embarrassed and Carson Palmer did not look great. I think the Ravens offense is going to kick it into gear and beat the Bengals easily.
(1-0) New England Patriots at (0-1) New York Jets
A lot of trash talking already between the two teams. There's Brady, Revis and Moss who have all made comments about each other or the opposing team. The Jets offense looked bad Monday night against a great defense and New England's offense looked great against a very week defense. I think the Jets are going to back up their talk this week and beat the Patriots. Mark my words they will take advantage of a young Patriots defense.
(1-0) Houston Texans at (1-0) Washington Redskins
This match up is intriguing to say the least and because of how great Houston looked great last week I think the Texans will beat the new look Redskins. McNabb and company did not look all the great against Dallas and barely escaped with a win. Houston has always had the defense but it appears their offense has finally come around. Houston all the way.
(1-0) New York Giants at (0-1) Indianapolis Colts.
Manning vs. Manning is the marquee and after last week I am going with the younger and now more superior quarterback, Eli Manning. Peyton Manning is not Peyton Manning anymore. The new rule of having the official stand behind the QB is really affecting Peyton. He my have put up great numbers last week but it didn't get the job done. Eli on the other hand, was solid even though there was 3 interceptions but his team won. He and the Giants got the momentum and that momentum will carry through on Sunday.
There you have it, check back on Tuesday for my week 2 review of the NFL. Maybe I can bring happier news to Lions fans.

Reggie Bush Forfeits Heisman Trophy, Remains Vacated
For the first time in the 75 year history the Heisman Trophy has been forfeited. Reggie Bush who was investigated for receiving improper benefits while he was at USC. He denied the claims for years but as the NCAA was closing in on finding him ineligible he forfeited the trophy. The Heisman committee has stated that trophy will remain vacated. Think about all the people have won the Heisman, a list that includes:
Carson Palmer, Charles Woodson, Ricky Williams, Desmond Howard, Bo Jackson, and Vinny Testaverde. These are just some of the few who have held that trophy and went on to be successful. Reggie Bush have been very successful, but will this taint his legacy? In terms of his pro career no, but who knows if people will look at him differently.
I just think its sad, because it's the highest honor you can have as a College Football player. It remains to be seen if it stays to vacated or if the runner up will be awarded the trophy. The runner up would be Vince Young who would accept it if it was awarded to him. Only time will tell to see what happens.

NFL Week 1 Review
Well the first week in the NFL is officially in the books and there is a lots to talk about. First why don't we start with how the Lions got robbed out of a great game after Calvin Johnson made the game winning touchdown that was called an incomplete pass. The Lions would have had their first road win since 2008 if they would have won that game. The Lions defense looked great.
Green Bay was putting points on the board against Philly until all of a sudden, Kevin Kolb got injured and Michael Vick came in. Vick came in with a huge deficit and almost brought the Eagles back to win. If Andy Reid were smart, Michael Vick will be the starter until he plays bad.
My two upsets of the week were Houston over Indy and Kansas City over San Diego. Both have a great young teams with great talent. I look for both teams to make some noise this year.
The game of the week turned out to be a defense struggle and offensive nightmare. The Jets and Ravens really didn't make any huge plays on offense except for a few big passes from Flacco to Boldin. The score ended up being 10-9 with a Ravens win. The play calling for both teams on offense was just horrible. It's great that they have dominant defenses but if they want to win, they are going to have to put points on the board.
In terms of how I did in fantasy this week, I have three teams and the scores were like this.
Hollywood's Rejects 158.78
Country Strong 184.80
My player of the week on this team was Chad Ochocinco
Uncle Jack 145
Hollywood's Rejects 198
My player of the week on this was Peyton Manning
Hollywood's Rejects 45
Team Edwards 69
My player of the week for this team was Anquan Boldin

An Epic Battle Between Michigan and Notre Dame Plus More
On Saturday one of the biggest rivalries in College Sports took place once again. The Wolverines headed to South Bend to play the Irish. U of M got off to a great start and led 21-7 headed into the third quarter. Notre Dame scored caught up in the 4th quarter leading 24-21 and seemingly had U of M beat. With 30 seconds left Denard Robinson rushed in for a touchdown. Denard Robinson is the real deal. Today he had 244 yards passing and 258 yards rushing. What another record breaking day for him. Michigan is 2-0 and that is a good sign for Rich Rodriguez and his team.
All the higher ranked teams won their games except for two. Kansas beat 15th ranked Georgia Tech and 24th ranked South Carolina beat 22nd ranked Georgia. Not a great day for the state of Georgia.
Another great week in College Football with some nail biters and probably some changes in the top 25. Next week there will be a few big match up's including:
No. 14 Arkansas at No. 22 Georgia
Notre Dame at Michigan State
No. 5 Texas at Texas Tech
No. 15 Georgia Tech at North Carolina
Keep checking back for more big games, and changes in the BCS standings. Who knows, maybe U of M will crack the standings soon.

Is an NFL lockout coming?
Before Thursday nights game between the Vikings and Saints players from each side stood on the field to salute each other and the fans because of the talk of a lockout out in 2011. It could very well happen if the owners and players can't reach a compromise on a new collective bargaining agreement. On Mike and Mike in the morning yesterday Mike Golic and Marcellus Wiley got into a huge debate about if the fans care about the collective bargaining agreement. I can tell you this much, if there is a lockout in 2011, I think it's really going to hurt the sport much like the strike of 1994 hurt baseball. There was no World Series and it screwed a lot of people like Tony Gwynn, Matt Williams, and Carlos Baerga who all were going for records. It really screwed the Montreal Expos who had the best season ever in their franchise. They were never the same and they eventually became the pitiful Washington Nationals.
If a lockout happens in the NFL, it's going to do a lot of damage. Advertisers, people who work at the stadiums and for teams will be losing money and people will be out of jobs. That is the last thing we need in the economy.
The players say they aren't greedy but I say they are. People spend a lifetime trying to make what these guys do in one game. They need to stop and think about how lucky they are to make the money they are. At the same time I know the owners aren't any better. Some of these players do sacrifice a lot to play. They sacrifice a good portion of their year playing the game and making the owners even more money.
I would really hate to see a lockout happen but the talks are getting more serious and if you ask me fans, players, etc. should be worried. Only time will tell if a compromise can be made. Stay tuned for more on this story.
