Royal Rumble, WSX, G.R. City Tournaments, and more.

This past Sunday, I watched the Royal Rumble and it was fantastic. All 3 title matches were good, and so was the Hardys/MNM match. I enjoyed that match a lot. The Royal Rumble match itself was good. When it came down to the Undertaker and Shawn Michaels I couldn't believe it. It was the first time in 9 years that they fought. Thats huge!!! It was a great moment for wrestling fans...Speaking of the road to Wrestlemania...It's going to be Shawn Michaels/John Cena vs. The Undertaker/Batista at No Way Out. I am looking foward to it. It should be a great match.

I watched the debut of Wrestling Society X last night, and despite all the great wrestlers they have, the show resembled a glorified stunt show. I was also disappointed because I didn't get to see Josh Abercrombie and Jimmy Jacobs. A lame 30 min. show that couldn't compete with TNA or WWE on their best day. I mean come on guys, you just reinforced the critics beliefs that wrestling is "fake" but we all know it isn't. Hopefully next weeks show will be better.

The last two weeks in bowling, I have been on fire. I have bowled 6 games in a row above my average. With City Tournaments on the horizon I have a lot of momentum going into them. I will keep you up to date on when they're taking place.

TNA has really impressed me lately with storylines regarding Abyss and Sting. I also am enjoying LAX and their run. If TNA goes to two hours, watch it out because the wrestling wars will start again. I am looking foward to it.

WWE Releases, Pistons, Tigers, and more

Well its happening again. WWE has released like 13 guys in the last two days, with the most notable one being Tatanka. Others include Rodney Mack, Jazz, and Al Snow. Well all the more reason for these 13 competitors to go to TNA which I imagine some of them will.

I am sadden to hear of Bam Bam Bigelows passing this afternoon. He is probably one of the best big men ever to grace the squared circle. My favorite match of his was against Taz for the ECW TV Title in his hometown where he won. I will also remember the New Jersey connection with him, DDP and Kanyon. It was good stuff. Great guy to watch. He will be truely missed.

The Pistons signed Chris Webber this past week which is good for the team. I think having a marquee player like him will help out. A lot of people say he's washed up and old but I think Webber still has a lot to prove. I think he needed to find the right team to prove that he still has it. I look foward to seeing him play the rest of the year.

It is almost spring training and the tigers came to terms with four of their players to avoid arbitration. Good news for them. I look foward to watching the Tigers again this year with new players Gary Sheffield and Jose Mesa. Great additions to an already great team.

I see Sammy Sosa is back, and with the Rangers. I thought the Cubs would for sure get him back. Ecspecially for the marquee value he brings. He will always remembered as a Cub though. I look foward to watching his return.

The NFL Playoff really pissed me off last week. The Ravens and the Chargers both lost to, two teams who really didn't deserve to win. Now we get to see the Patriots and Colts for the 100th time. I hope they beat the hell out of each other because I want who ever wins between Chicago and New Orleans to win the whole thing...preferably New Orleans because they are a fun team to watch...atleast thats what my neighbor says

Four Fantastic Years Later

Four years ago today, to young mens dreams would come true. I remember years before a bond of wrestling ignited a friendship and a destiny that would not let down. On January 16th 2003, Noah Lott came to me and asked for my help financially to become a pro wrestler. It was always my dream to be a pro wrestler but due to having heart disease I could never live that out, so Noah decided to live both of our dreams.

He started training with Dan “the beast” Severn a few weeks later. He first wrestled under the name flame then he decided to be….Noah Lott….the definition of greatness or the picture of perfection. He trained with some of Michigans top stars: Jack Thriller, Johnny Dynamo, CJ Otis, Rastakhan, BAM and many more.

A lot of people wonder why I go over the top when it comes to Noah Lott and wrestling. It’s because he lives both of our dreams and I will do anything to see him succeed. Sure I have talk trash, marked out and pissed off people but that has been all me. I have always been brutally honest vocally while Noah Lott has done his talking in the ring.

I’ve watched almost of all Noah’s matches in person or on tape. I study them, and find new ways to help him “get over” and be successful. I like to call myself the wrestling historian because I’ve studied the business since I was like 3. Wrestling fans know him as a brash, cocky know it all. I know him as my best friend. He’s always been there for me through thick and then.

I will always be a fan, and a friend of Noah Lott. Noah thanks for your friendship and allowing me to be a part of your career. If it weren’t for you, Hollywoods Gimmicks wouldn’t be around because you inspired me to find another way into the business. God Bless ya bud and keep up the great work. Grand Rapids City Tournament, Officials/Referees, 10 mins of Raw, and more

It is that time of year again, the preparation for City tournaments in Grand Rapids. This where I start to really concentrate on my game. This the all events will be held at Spectrum Lanes. I am looking foward to the challange and hope to do well. The dates haven't been annoucned yet but I will let you know when it takes place.

This past week I saw some of the worst officiating ever. I saw it in NFL Games, the Rose Bowl and in the NBA. If I were running sports I would fine referees for every obvious bad call they made. One thing that bothered me is when Allen Iverson got kicked out of a game against this old time the 76ers in Denver. A guy tripped him and didnt get the call, so the ref kicks him out. Now that was obviously a bad call. I think officials should get fined, just like the players do. Frustrating to watch the sports right now.

This past Monday I only watched 10 minutes of Raw...then I shut the crap off. K-Fed vs. Cena was so stupid. Now we wonder why TNA is starting to get more noticed. I hope when TNA and WWE go head to head in February, I hope the wrestling fans purposely not watch WWE just to show them how stupid they are. It was the first time in a long time that I shut wrestling off. To sum it all up, it was pathetic.

Well the NFL Playoffs begin. My prediction for the Super Bowl is the Baltimore Ravens vs. the New Orleans Saints, with the Ravens winning.
