Weekly Recap...POG, Jericho, and Summerslam Fallout

Raw Thoughts:
Well it looks like Chris Masters finally might get his break once and for all. I hope he does well against HBK, it should be good. So it looks like Chris Jericho is gone from the WWE and his career might be over. Kurt Angle vs. John Cena has always been a good rivalry and should escalate further. Angle vs. Shelton was the match of the night by far. It was also great to Ric Flair on TV again and maybe he will win the I-C title from Carlito. Now that would be Cool.

Smackdown Thoughts:
Off to Friday Nights starting Sept. 9th and I think that will be better for them. The 6-man was a great match. I would like to see some new fueds start like OJ vs. Rey, Eddie vs. Batista and JBL vs. Beniot. Looks like Christian is going Face. The Mexicools are getting on my last nerves and hope someone kicks the crap out of them. It was a good week.

8/24/2005: Pennington turns down offer from Severn

As reported yesterday, Dan Severn took booking privileges away from recent #2 man in Price of Glory Wrestling, Mark Pennington. Then, Severn offered Pennington a position that would keep him with Price of Glory Wrestling. It seems there was a heated conversation between the two and all offers are off the table.However, quick to secure a position related to the promotion... Pennington has already contacted CJ Otis and worked out an agreement. He will now represent "The Specialist" in Price of Glory Wrestling. This could play a major factor in the outcome of the Main Event at "Enter The InFeRnO!" With a shot at becoming the #1 contender to the POG Grand Championship, CJ Otis is bringing out the big guns and not taking this lightly. With Pennington in Otis' corner, this will be more like a Handi-cap Match for Jack Thriller. The questions is ... Does Jack Thriller have what it takes to win against all odds?

8/23/2005: A shift in management

Dan Severn had a meeting late last week with all of the people behind POG Wrestling. It seems some major shifts are being made and some are not happy. One in particular is Mark Pennington. It seems he has been taken out of the position of booking the matches, a job he has had the privelege of since this promotion began back in April of 2004. This could be a good change. Severn mentioned during the meeting that Pennington held back great talent from wrestling on the show for personal reasons, and that is not a good way to do business. Severn presented Pennington with another position on the staff, however, it was not taken well. The status of this is still unknown, but answers will be heard once we know.You will more than likely see new faces at "Enter The InFeRnO!" and better all around morale from the management and talent alike.

First off I would like to personally apologize to anyone I offended in POG, ecspecially Jack Thriller and The Wild Stallions who are a great group of wrestlers and realized it wasn't you guys holding people back. I hope its a good show this Sunday. Here are my predictions:

Well lets cut to the chase. Not much thought on either show this week except a few things. I thought the Bret Hart tease and the 2nd Screw job was brilliant and funny even though I hope Hogan kills HBK at Summerslam. On Smackdown the Benoit/Orton match was the best one on Smackdown this year.

Tommorrow night is Summerslam and I am going to BW3 to watch it. Its going to be awesome

Weekly Recap... Dusty, Hardy, and Summerslam

Raw thoughts:
It was good to see Matt Hardy to wrestle again and I loved his twist of fate on Snitsky even though Snitsky took it bad. It was also cool to see Angle lose in his hometown, and its going to be better when Hogan beats him next week.

Smackdown Thoughts:
Seeing Kamala was so hilarious, Kim-Chee took the RKO really good as well as Kamala did. The Eddie and Rey thing is so dumb, I don't know why WWE tries to insult the fans intellegence. I thought the Peep Show Setup was awesome. It might be the best talk show yet. Haha.

I think its really awesome that Dusty Rhodes will be working for WWE again. I think he will bring a lot to WWE. Jimmy Jacobs, Huss, was on Velocity last against Nunzio which was awesome seeing a local guy on TV. I am looking foward to wrestling this week, especially Summerslam next week. I am actually looking forward to the Edge/Matt Hardy match the most just to see if they shoot fight and kill each other. Who knows. Well see ya next week. Peace

Its been an interesting week in wrestling so here we go

Raw Thoughts:
HBK did a great job mocking Hogan. It was hilirious. It was about time they stopped thr Matt Hardy non-sense. I am looking foward to that match as Summerslam. Big Shows chops were louder then hell and must have hurt. It was great to see Tatanka on TV again, and hope they start bringing older stars back

Smackdown Thoughts:
Batista-JBL will be great and I think they'll be a lot bloodshed going on. The Guerrero-Mysterio thing is kind of dumb, and people need to stop insulting the fans intellegeance. Taker vs. Orton 2 will be great. Summerslam is shaping to be great on both ends.

Its nice to see Bret Hart on great terms with WWE again and look foward to seeing his dvd was well the Road Warriors, Ultimate Warrior and the 80's dvd. Brock Lesnar is confusing the hell out of me so I am not going to even comment about him. Noah Lotts photo site is updated and new website www.noahlottwrestling.com is now running so check it out. Weekly Recap...Hulk and Andre on A&E and much more

So this week in wrestling was a low key week, except Hogan has been on all week long. Either a Hogan Knows Best Re-run, He was on A&E and Larry King yesterday and he is on Jimmy Kimmel Live tonight. Hulkamania is definetely running wild. Noah Lott is in North Carolina right now with N8 Mattson, Brian from UCW and another person. I hope to hear from him tonight on the tournament. Nothing much going on

RAW Thoughts
It was cool when Lita got tombstoned by Kane, and the Cena/Carlito match was great. I paid close attention to what HBK said and he said at the end, becareful what you wish for Vince...So theres an interesting thought. Last but not least Kurt Angle finally lost his medal to Eugene at beginning of the show. That was awesome

SMACKDOWN Thoughts
Animal and Heindereich are awesome together but I know it won't last long. Seeing Randy Orton again was great because he is the guy that who will be my favorite wrestler after Hulk hangs the boots up for good. I also thought the tag match between Beniot/Booker vs. Christian/OJ was really good, probably the best of the week. It's going to be interesting what Summerslam is like on the Smackdown side of things

I also watched Andre the Giant on A&E yesterday and It was a truely inspiring story to see what he went through. You should all check it out sometime. Until next week have a good one. Peace

Noah Lott and Hollywood JW

I want to address something with everyone in the wrestling world. I am not officially a contracted manager with Noah Lott. Noah Lott and I are good friends who have a common goal. To succeed in the wrestling buisness. He wants to be a great wrestler, I want to be a commentator and a storyline writer. Noah Lotts dream is my dream because I was born with heart disease and I can't wrestle. Noah Lott is living both of our dreams. A lot of people thing that what I say is how Noah Lott feels. That is not true. My opinions are my opinons and thoughts. Furthermore I would like to say this, just because I don't like a promotion or a wrestler that doesn't mean I don't respect them. I respect every person who tries to get in the wrestling buisness because its a hard cruel buisness which is tough to survive in. If people have a problem with me and what I say take it up with me, not Noah Lott. Believe me if I was a contracted manager for Noah Lott, I wouldn't say half the stuff that was on my mind. A wild weekend in Wrestling

Well what a weekend it has been in pro wrestling. Noah Lott did some great things this weekend. The Great American Bash was phenomenal. Taker destroyed Hassan, which sucks. MNM lost the tag titles to Animal and Heindereich. Rey and Eddie had another classical match. I can't wait for Raw tonight. Its going to be off the charts

* EWF Title: Anarchy (c) beat "So Fine" Frank Stein- Anarchy had Stein beat after he delivered a diamond cutter, but theguest referee JT Zorin would not make the count. So Hurricane cameout and pulled Zorin out of the ring and made the count himself.Then the rest of Team Zorin ambushed Hurricane, including Fabuzionailing him with a chair. Fabuzio then got on the mic and said it was too bad Hurricane wasretired or he would face him in the ring one on one.

So you can see it was a busy weekend for Noah Lott and Team Zorin. Noah Lott heads to North Carolina this weekend for the AWA Light Heavyweight Title Tournament, he will be going with N8 Mattson, JT Zorin, and Brian from UCW Old School. Its going to be great. I am looking forward to Raw Tonight. Hell yeah

Weekly Recap... A Bash, A Showdown and much more

Hey everyone well I just got done watching Smackdown and I guess this will start my weekly thoughts

Raw Thoughts
Well good to see Hulk Hogan back on Raw, challange excepted HBK. I thought they Main Event was great with Cena looking down for the fight and then other superstars come out to help...never saw that coming believe it or not. Chris Masters got the best of Rosey, but not the Big Show. Speaking of Rosey when in the hell are Rosey and Hurricane going to defend the tag titles again, give them to the heart throbs or something. WWE needs more tag teams again, wouldn't mind seeing HHH and Flair get the gold and take on people for a change. Well next week is the battle of the bands, personally Hulk should bring out Brooke because she is better then Cena and Jericho. Raw should be great next week

Smackdown thoughts
Two great matches which ended up with out a pinfall, Crazy vs. Mysterio and Eddie vs. Benoit. Both had good, for once, Smackdown has some good matches. JBL's speech sucked, and Batista looked awesome with the Hat and Coat, lol. As far as the Great American Bash, I probably won't get it because one I might be at indy show which I will get to in a moment and then two it's a Smackdown pay-per-view, cough cough, don't watch to many of those. It probably will be one of there better ones...and probably Muhammad Hassan's last one. Apparently UPN doesn't want him on there anymore so it either to Raw, or to the unemployment line. I think it sucks because its a great character, and people need to realize its a show and I don't think WWE really meant for it to happen.

In other news Lord Alfred Hayes past away yesterday, he was a great commentator for wrestling and was a bright and colorful person. Well apparently TNA has reached a deal with Spike TV, about time. TNA needs to get back on TV. I know a lot of people think they suck but they have some great stars who should be in the WWE. I look foward to seeing TNA again.

AWA World Light Heavyweight Title Tournament Update - Shannon Moore returns!

An action packed weekend is planned for at the Carolina Sports Arena in Burlington, NC as the AWA is set to crown their World Light Heavyweight Champion. A single elimination 24-man tournament is set to kick off on Friday, July 29th, and conclude on Saturday, July 30th. AWA President Dale Gagne will be on hand to award the championship belt to the winner.
The first announcement of half the field has already had many fans requesting tickets to see some many great wrestlers from around the world in their first appearance in this area. Now the remaining twelve participants names have been released including the huge bombshell announcement of who would represent the home state of North Carolina.
Shannon Moore, a world class light heavyweight competitor and fresh off of world-wide television, was the suprise representative. A vetern of WCW & WWE and wildly popular in his home state of North Carolina from his beginning days in the legendary OMEGA promotion, Moore has quickly added to the interest in one of the most impressive light heavyweight tournaments ever put together.

Noah Lott and Dollar electrify crowd at SWA

You definitely say that Noah Lott and his tag team partner had a great night on July 15th at SWA. They won the SWA Tag titles from Brad Hexum and Big Money Chuck Weeden...That was not it though. After the show ended they entered the ring seperately. No one knew what was going to happen. Next thing you know what they wrestled...and after 90 mins the bout was determined a draw. Wrestling fans, this is a first pro wrestling. a 90 minute match. Unbelievable. I am shocked. Hats off to both guys for a hell of a night. Check out Noah Lotts website www.noahlott.cjb.net

Hulk Hogans Last SummerSlam

After watching Monday Night and listening to HBK'S challange to Hulk Hogan for a match at SummerSlam I started to think about Hulk Hogans last Summerslam, 1991. Its so hard to believe its been that long. I watched the whole PPV because I have it on tape and I can say its my favorite PPV of all time. You had Gorilla, The Brain, and Piper on commentary. You had Bret Hart vs. Mr. Perfect for the I-C title, one of the best of all time. You had L.O.D. win the tag titles from the Nasty Boys. Virgil beat Ted for the Million Dollar belt. Then you had the main event. Slaughter/Mustafa(Iron Sheik)/Adnon vs. Warrior/Hogan with Sid Justice as the special ref. It was about a 20 minute main event with Hogan pinning Slaughter and then Hogan and Sid posing for like 10 mins. It was great. I believe this Summerslam will top '91 not just because Hulk Hogan will wrestle Shawn Michaels because the buisness has changed and the wrestlers are doing more then they ever have. I have some predictions for this years even matches.

This week on Raw: It was pretty much boring except for the beginning and the end. I was surprised that HBK turned on Hogan. I thought they would set up the match a little different. I thought it was cool despite the fact I am a huge fan of Hogans. It will be a great match. I am also looking foward to the new show Hogan Knows Best, it should be comical
This week on Smackdown: Two things I didn't really like on the show, The bWo coming out of no where and having JBL lose to the Meanie, even though I think the Meanie is fricken sweet. I was really offended by the whole terrorist and the way carried out Daviri. If you know me well enough, you know I am a patriot and love my country a lot. Hopefully WWE won't pull that crap again. WWE Legend out of line

This past Monday on Raw, the opening segment was with World Champion Triple H and Ric Flair. Flair was not suppose to say anything in the interview. He grabbed the mic and called Randy Orton a virgin. In real life Randy Orton and Ric Flair are good friends but will be in a match against each other at Taboo Tuesday on Oct. 19th. He said "Like Orton, I make virgins, I break virgins, and I make them bleed." Apparently when all this was going down, WWE Owner Vince Mcmahon was irate backstage. When Flair came through the curtain, Vince chewed him out, and almost fired him. Apparently Mcmahon has to be held back so no one got hurt. Now I am a big WWE fan like many others but even I thought that was out of line, it don't matter if you're a legend or God in pro wrestling. It was simply un called for. This has been second week in a row Flair has said something inappriopate. A week ago he trashed Bret Hart on national tv in the same arena his brother died. Like I said Flair maybe a legend but not even a legend should be that low of a person. Obviously Flair didnt learn one thing all these years. How to keep your mouth shut.
