Well it seems a lot went down this week at the Winter Meetings of Major League Baseball. A lot of big time players were signed and it made for an interesting week. Here are just some of the deals that went down this week.
-Boston Red Sox agreed to terms with OF Carl Crawford on a seven-year contract. Also acquired 1B Adrian Gonzalez from San Diego for OF Reymond Fuentes, RHP Casey Kelly, 1B Anthony Rizzo and a player to be named.
-Baltimore Orioles acquired SS J.J. Hardy and INF Brendan Harris from Minnesota for RHP Jim Hoey, RHP Brett Jacobson and cash considerations.
-Chicago Cubs agreed to terms with 1B Carlos Pena on a one-year contract.
-Chicago White Sox agreed to terms with 1B Paul Konerko on a three-year contract.
-Kansas City Royals agreed to terms with OF Jeff Francoeur on a one-year contract.
-Arizona Diamondbacks agreed to terms with RHP J.J. Putz on a two-year contract.
-New York Yankees agreed to terms with SS Derek Jeter on a three-year contract.
Those are some of the big deals that went down this week. The one name that still has not signed is Cliff Lee. He is still torn between New York and Texas. This is one of biggest stories of the year. No one really has any idea what he will do. If you ask my opinion, I would say re-sign with Texas. They are the ones who went to the World Series last year. Also you have to realize when you play in New York, you're always under scrutiny if don't play well. My message to Cliff Lee, stay a Texas Ranger. You're a better fit down there.

Thoughts on TNA Impact and Reaction 12/10/2010
Last night was another crazy night of Impact but this week I was really impressed with one thing. That one thing was the fact that a Knockout's match was the main event delivered. Tara and Mickie James have had this long standing feud that dates back to the WWE days and TNA has turned into something special. Last night the two women fought in a steel cage and had a war. Mickie James won the match with a Lou Thez press from the top of steel cage. I was definitely impressed with both women.
The night started off with Eric Bischoff lecturing Immortal about how they need to win all the titles so they can get the power back they once had. Rhino came and get tossed out by Fortune after Bischoff denied him a contract extension.
The Motor City Machine Guns fought Gunner and Murphy until Beer Money interfered. I see the two best tag teams in wrestling right now will be feuding again which is good because tag team is needed in pro wrestling.
The TNA Knockout Tag Titles were vacated and thus they are having a four team tournament. In the first match that happened this week The Beautiful People defeated Daffney and Sarita. Another match is scheduled for next week.

A lot is building up for 2011 and it's first PPV of the year Genesis. It's hard to believe its almost been year ago since Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, RVD, and others arrived on the scene. Thoughts on Lee Corso's Speech at College Football Awards
Last night I watched the College Football awards, and ESPN analyst Lee Corso was honored for his contributions to College Football. He's been a commentator and analyst for over 20 hours. He is very entertaining and never holds back on his opinion. I like to think of him as the Dick Vitale of College Football. He's got humor, insight and class. Here is the video of Lee Corso's career:

Lebron James vs. Trent Dilfer...Who's Next?
So turning your back on your team and giving us a one hour show about it isn't enough attention. Now Lebron is attacking ESPN analysts. Trent Dilfer was talking about how bad Peyton Manning's performances as of late and didn't offer up any complements to how he was playing. Well Lebron James took offense it and posted this on his twitter:
"Watching SC and Trent Dilfer is talking bad on how Peyton Manning is playing as of late! In his wildest dream could never ever do the things Peyton does on the field. Good or bad! People get on TV and think they can say whatever they want! And it's always former players! Crazy!!"
Hey Lebron last I checked you don't play football, so what makes you an expert. Also last I checked Trent Dilfer has won a Super Bowl. How many championships have you won? Oh, that's right you haven't won any. Funny how that works. This is yet another thing that bothers me about Lebron James. He needs to focus on playing the game of basketball and keep his mouth shut.

Tyson, Stallone and Chavez named to Boxing Hall of Fame
Yesterday it was announced that three icons in the sport of boxing will be inducted into their Hall of Fame. Those three would Mike Tyson, Sylvester Stallone, and Julio Cesar Chavez. There are others to be inducted but these are the three headliners. So lets start with "the baddest man on the planet," Mike Tyson. Mike Tyson made his professional debut in 1985. He won his first 37 fights and defeated James Smith, Trevor Berbick, Tony Tucker, and Michael Spinks for the different Heavyweight titles he won. His overall record was 50-6. He is well known for biting Holyfield in the ear and having a lot of legal problems. However Mike Tyson has recently cleaned up his life and has become a better person. He's appeared in various movies and has been involved with WWE on a couple of occasions. Whether you love him or hate him, he brought media attention to boxing whether it was good or bad. He has a legacy that will never duplicated.
Another man who gave a lot to boxing would be Sylvester Stallone. He was and always will be Rocky Balboa to boxing fans around the world. He came out with six Rocky movies that spanned from 1976 to 2006. He also appeared along Sugar Ray Leonard in the TV show The Contender. The show was a reality TV show that had up and coming boxers face off in an elimination-style competition. Stallone has been a lifelong boxing fan and has given so much to the sport. He had great fights in movies with Apollo Creed, Thunder Lips, Clubber Lang, Ivan Drago, and Mason Dixon. For those of you who don't know the only real life boxer that had a major role in a Rocky movie was Antonio Tarver who played Mason Dixon in the 6th Rocky movie. Stallone has a great boxing legacy without ever even fighting once.
Julio Cesar Chavez on the other hand had a lot of fights and is one of the greatest fighters ever. He has defeated so many people including Roger Mayweather, Mario Martinez, Edwin Rosario, and Meldrick Taylor. He held the WBC Super Featherweight Championship, WBA Lightweight Championship, WBC Lightweight Championship, The Ring Lightweight Championship, WBC Super Lightweight Championship, IBF Light Welterweight Championship, and the WBC Super Lightweight Championship. Hie career spanned over 25 years and it ended with a record of 107-6 with 2 draws. He was the constant fighter and has the fights to back it up. He also has a legacy that will never be duplicated.
All three of these men have earned their way into the Hall. Other inductees include Junior Welterweight champion Kostya Tszyu, trainer Ignacio “Nacho” Beristain (Mexico), and referee Joe Cortez. NFL Week 14 Preview
Looking at all the games this week it is so hard to pick four to predict. The match-ups are really not the difficult. I will do my best to give you four worth games to think about.
(6-6) Indianapolis Colts at (5-7) Tennessee Titans
This game is very important for both teams in different ways. Jeff Fisher is under a lot of pressure right now and the Colts are trying to make the playoffs. If the Colts win they still have a shot at the playoffs. If the Titans win Jeff Fisher can relax a little bit. I do think however the Colts will win. Peyton Manning will not play like he did again this past week. I just don't see him doing it. He is going to be in vengeance mode for what happened against the Cowboys.
(6-6) St. Louis Rams at(9-3) New Orleans Saints
Do not underestimate St. Louis. They will probably end up representing the NFC West in the playoffs. I am actually going to call an upset and say the Rams will beat the Saints this week. I think the Rams could easily sneak into the NFC Championship game. Wouldn't that be something? I don't think it will happen though. They have a great team for the future and it will show this week.
(10-2) New England Patriots at (9-3) Chicago Bears
Well the Patriots beat up on a good Jets team, so what makes me think they won't do it to the Bears? Patriots will win hands down this week. In fact they will probably beat the Bears worst then they did the Jets. Brady and company are on fire and they have come out of nowhere this year. This could be a sign of things to come.
(8-4) Kansas City Chiefs at(6-6) San Diego Chargers
This is a very important game for both teams. It could determine a lot in the playoffs. If Kansas City wins then they secure themselves a playoff spot. If San Diego wins then their playoff hopes are still alive. In the end, the Chargers will fall short and Kansas City will keep marching on.

NFL Week 13 Review
Well if you know you me, you're probably laughing at the fact that the New York Jets got clobbered and embarrassed. I for one was not laughing. However what made me laugh was the Colts losing to the Cowboys and Big Ben getting his nose broken. The four teams I cannot stand are the Steelers, Colts, Giants and Patriots.
There were a lot of close games this week but at the end of the week teams like Atlanta, Philadelphia, and Kansas City still remain at the top of the division. St. Louis is tied in the NFC West with Seattle but I think when it's said and done the Rams will be in the playoffs at 9-7. They are good, young team and will be around for awhile.
Here is the current playoff picture after this week. There is still four weeks to be played but here is the scenario if the season ended today.

A Night for a Fight
Last night both the UFC and Strikeforce ran last night so it was a great night for MMA fans. Lets begin with the UFC, which had the Ultimate Fighter Finale. My favorite fight on the UFC card was the Middleweight bout between Demian Maia and Kendall Grove. I enjoyed the fight because it went all three rounds and it also helped that Maia defeated Grove by unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28). And in the Main Event Jonathan Brookins fought Michael Johnson. Brookins was the best fighter in the house this season and it showed in the finale. He looked really impressive in his fight. The end result ended up being Brookins defeating Johnson by unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-27) to become the Season 12 Lightweight winner of The Ultimate Fighter.
That was the UFC and I hate to say it but Strikeforce had a better card last night. Here are the results of the card:
-Light Heavyweight bout: Benji Radach vs. Ovince St. Preux
St. Preux defeated Radach by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-26, 30-25).

I was impressed with Strikeforce last night, more then I usually would be. The next event they have coming up is in January and only one bout is in the works and that would be Nick Diaz vs. Jason Miller. There is some bad blood between those two and it should make for a good fight.
The UFC has an event next week and the headliner is the Welterweight Championship bout between Georges St-Pierre (c) and Josh Koscheck. This is another one that's been brewing for awhile. So stay tuned folks because it could get very interesting in the MMA world this next year.

Baseball Offseason News
A lot of baseball news happening in the off season which is going to shape the season for next year. Derek Jeter is still in negotiations with the Yankees. I think I read the headline some where on ESPN but it said he needed realize he is 36, not 26 and be happy with the money he was offered. The Yanks offered him a contract for 3 years, 45 million dollars and he turned it down. I am not sure if any other team would even come close to matching that. However he's not the only one the Yankees are trying to get. They are also trying to get Cliff Lee but Texas is making some strong offers to keep him. Other signings include:
-White Sox: agreed to terms with 1B Adam Dunn on a four-year contract and with C A.J. Pierzynski on a two-year contract.
-Rockies: agreed to terms with SS Troy Tulowitzki on a 10-year contract.
-Dodgers: agreed to terms with INF Juan Uribe on a three-year contract. Also agreed to terms with RHP Jon Garland on a one-year contract.
-Giants: agreed to terms with SS Miguel Tejada and INF Mike Fontenot to one-year contracts.
-Tigers: agreed to terms with C-DH Victor Martinez on a four-year contract.

Thoughts on TNA Impact and Reaction 12/02/2010
It seems like every time I watch Impact I never know what's going to happen. I like that feeling. Their maybe spoilers out there but I tend not to read the TNA ones. The first match of the night was Kaz taking on Doug Williams. It was a really awesome opening match which ended with Williams hitting Chaos to win the match. I love the matches that these two have had over this last year. They are very solid and you can tell they have chemistry in the ring.
The next match was Sarita vs. Angelina Love vs. Madison Rayne and there was not overly exciting about that match. Sarita won once again putting herself in contention for Knockouts title shot in the near future.
Matt Morgan vs. Rhino went to a no contest after Fortune and Jeff Hardy interfered. Mr. Anderson returned to make the save. He pursues Matt Morgan to make him the special guest referee for Morgan's title match at Final Resolution.
The Main Event was Abyss and Jeff Jarrett vs. Samoa Joe and The Pope. Another match that ended in no contest but Kurt Angle came out and took out Abyss which prompted Jarrett to run off.
There was also a Mickie James concert which Tara interrupted. A brawl ensued between both women and it lasted all night ling. There was also a fist bump showdown between Jay Lethal and Robbie E. That also resulted in a brawl in which Cookie and Christy Hemme got involved. So TNA was a combination of the animal house and girls gone wild. It was insane again this week.
TNA Final Resolution is this Sunday and here is the card:

-Tag Team match with the winners becoming the No. 1 Contenders to the TNA World Tag Team Championship:

NFL Week 13 Preview
Week 13 is upon us and there are some great games on this week that could determine the playoff picture. So let's get down to business with my predictions.
(9-2) Atlanta Falcons at(7-4) Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Atlanta is coming off a close win, and Tampa Bay coming off a close lost. I really think Atlanta is the team to beat in the NFC right now. They got the defense, the offensive weapons and a great Quarterback. I think Atlanta wins this week and pulls a little farther from the rest of their division
(6-5) Jacksonville Jaguars at (5-6) Tennessee Titans
This game has a lot of importance to it because the Colts are struggling right now and both of these teams still have a shot at the playoffs. This is a good divisional rival game. I think the Jags are going to come back strong this week. The Titans have too many problems right now and so I think I am going to have to go with the Jags on this one.
(8-3) Pittsburgh Steelers at (8-3) Baltimore Ravens
This is another game that could determine a lot for the playoffs. Both teams have a strong defenses but I think Joe Flacco has more weapons to use and because of that Baltimore will edge out Pittsburgh. Don't forget, Big Ben has a boot on his foot due to an injury he suffered.
(9-2) New York Jets at (9-2) New England Patriots
The Jets won the week 2 match up between these two but this they are in New England. Both teams are playing incredible football right now. Sanchez is showing signs of greatness but Brady is already great. I am going to have to go with my Jets. They are experienced, they got weapons and they got Revis and Cromartie who can shut down any receiving core in the league.
I know I am impartial and I favor the Jets but I like their swagger and confidence. We will see what happens Monday Night. As always check back on Tuesday for my week in review.

NFL Week 12 Review
Thanksgiving has come and gone and so has week 12 of the NFL season. There were some great games this week like the Panthers vs. Browns, Falcons vs. Packers, Cowboys vs. Saints, and many more. As it stands right now there are only three teams in the NFC and three teams in the AFC who do not have a chance to make the playoffs. That means 26 teams are still fighting for a playoff spot. That's really unheard of this late in the season.
The Jets and Patriots play each other on Monday Night Football this coming week and that should decided a lot. The Steelers and Ravens play on Sunday Night which could also decided a lot. Some divisional games include Atlanta at Tampa Bay, St. Louis at Arizona, Washington at NY Giants, Denver at Kansas City, Jacksonville at Tennessee, and Oakland at San Diego.
Teams that really don't have a shot at this point are Dallas, Minnesota, Washington, Carolina and Detroit. On the AFC side of things Cincinnati, Buffalo, Cleveland and Denver don't have much of a shot either.
All the teams who needed a win got one but this coming week a lot of the top teams are playing each other so it's going to change the landscape of the playoff race. Check back tomorrow for my week 13 preview.

Thoughts on the Miami Heat
They say pride come before the fall, or something like that. In this case the Miami Heat's bragging and ego filled team has not be fairing to well the first full month of the season. The 9-8 Heat will not win 70 games this season as they predicted. Here is the problem. Dwayne Wade has an ego. Lebron James has an ego. And yes Chris Bosh has an ego. Put three big ego's on one team, it ain't going to work.
The Miami Heat remind of me of 2003-04 Lakers that had all the stars but worst. The difference between the Heat and that Lakers team is that the Lakers had depth on their bench. However Shaq, Kobe, Malone and Payton couldn't get a long. They subsequently lost in the finals to the Detroit Pistons. The only man that stayed was Kobe and he went on to win more championships without the egos. Bosh would be good for either Wade or James but not all three of them together.
The man is getting all the heat for it is coach Erik Spoelstra who actually had a little bit of an altercation with Lebron during the game against Dallas over the week. Rumors have been circulating that Pat Riley will return to the bench and coach again. So many people are talking about the Heat. Tracy McGrady says they are terrible together and that Lebron should have went to Chicago. Phil Jackson made some disparaging remarks about the Heat and their coach. Everyone is talking about the dysfunctional Miami Heat.
This Thursday is going to be the ultimate test for Lebron. Miami plays the Cavs. as Lebron returns to the town he deserted and betrayed. The crowd is absolutely going to go ballistic on him which he deserves I might add. I am going to say this, and that is, I have never had a problem with Wade or Bosh simply because Wade has remained loyal to Miami and Bosh was on a bad team. Lebron James was given everything in Cleveland. He gave that city hope, gave them something to dream about and made them be proud of their town. He threw it all away like an egomaniac because it was all about championship rings. How close are you to a ring now? Not very close at all because you're on a team that's not yours. It's been Wade's since he was drafter and it will remain Wade's until he leaves there.
I always said, it takes one hell of a man to have an hour long show to decide where you're going to play at. Lebron's an egomaniac, he's into himself and all he cares about is his image. Why do you think the video of him getting dunked on by a college kid was never released? It was to embarrassing for him.
The Miami Heat are slowly going up in flames and I for one love it. There are five teams better then the Heat right now in the east and they are Orlando, Boston Atlanta, Chicago, and Indiana. Why are these teams good? Because they don't have ego's. Well some of them do but they don't get in the way of the team.
Will the Heat and Erik Spoelstra survive the season? Only time will tell, stay tuned.
The Miami Heat remind of me of 2003-04 Lakers that had all the stars but worst. The difference between the Heat and that Lakers team is that the Lakers had depth on their bench. However Shaq, Kobe, Malone and Payton couldn't get a long. They subsequently lost in the finals to the Detroit Pistons. The only man that stayed was Kobe and he went on to win more championships without the egos. Bosh would be good for either Wade or James but not all three of them together.
The man is getting all the heat for it is coach Erik Spoelstra who actually had a little bit of an altercation with Lebron during the game against Dallas over the week. Rumors have been circulating that Pat Riley will return to the bench and coach again. So many people are talking about the Heat. Tracy McGrady says they are terrible together and that Lebron should have went to Chicago. Phil Jackson made some disparaging remarks about the Heat and their coach. Everyone is talking about the dysfunctional Miami Heat.
This Thursday is going to be the ultimate test for Lebron. Miami plays the Cavs. as Lebron returns to the town he deserted and betrayed. The crowd is absolutely going to go ballistic on him which he deserves I might add. I am going to say this, and that is, I have never had a problem with Wade or Bosh simply because Wade has remained loyal to Miami and Bosh was on a bad team. Lebron James was given everything in Cleveland. He gave that city hope, gave them something to dream about and made them be proud of their town. He threw it all away like an egomaniac because it was all about championship rings. How close are you to a ring now? Not very close at all because you're on a team that's not yours. It's been Wade's since he was drafter and it will remain Wade's until he leaves there.
I always said, it takes one hell of a man to have an hour long show to decide where you're going to play at. Lebron's an egomaniac, he's into himself and all he cares about is his image. Why do you think the video of him getting dunked on by a college kid was never released? It was to embarrassing for him.
The Miami Heat are slowly going up in flames and I for one love it. There are five teams better then the Heat right now in the east and they are Orlando, Boston Atlanta, Chicago, and Indiana. Why are these teams good? Because they don't have ego's. Well some of them do but they don't get in the way of the team.

EA Sports MMA Review
Earlier this week, I got a chance to sit down and play EA Sports: MMA. There was a lot of talk about this game and how it would compare to the UFC games. Well my verdict is in. I think the overall presentation of the game is decent.
When I first was playing the game the controls were hard to figure out but once I got them figured out it was a little bit easier. I will say this, submissions are a lot easier to do on this game but striking is much harder. I think the whole point of the game is trying to get people to tap out. They have a good selection of fighters including Strikeforce, and former UFC fighters.
What I hate about the game is the ring announcing...No one can touch Bruce Buffer and plus the guys voice on the game sounds distorted. The ring announcing is really good and it has a lot of emphasizes on it.
So if you're an MMA and asked me if I would buy it, I would say yes. It is entertaining and in it's a very competitive game. It's a fun game if you're a die hard MMA fan who isn't just limited to the UFC stuff.

Review of "Faster"
The movie also starred Billy Bob Thornton, Carla Gugino, Moon Bloodgood, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, and Maggie Grace. I am not going to give any details away but I will say this, The Rock played his character well. His character is very methodical, and doesn't say a lot throughout the movie. It's a movie about vengeance, retribution and also forgiveness.
The movies I've seen of The Rock's are The Game Plan, Get Smart, Race to Witch Mountain, The Mummy Returns, The Scorpion King, The Rundown,
Walking Tall, Be Cool and Gridiron Gang. This by far is his best performance out of all those movies.
The crazy thing about this movie is his character doesn't even have a name. He's simply known as Driver because he was the getaway driver in the bank robberies he committed which was a part of his past. However his name is revealed in a few synopsis of the movie and it's James Cullen.
If you like a good shoot em up, thrilling, suspense movie this would be a good movie to watch. The Rock definitely delivers in this movie and he's simply electrifying. The next Rock movie I am looking forward to is Fast Five, the fifth installment of Fast and Furious it will also star Vin Diesel, Paul Walker
Jordana Brewster, Sung Kang as Han Lue, Tyrese Gibson, and Ludacris

Thoughts on TNA Impact and Reaction 11/25/2010
This week on TNA, members of the TNA Roster tried stepping up against Fortune. Matt Morgan and Douglas Williams were the first two. They recruited Samoa Joe and The Pope for an eight man tag as the main event of the evening.
Tommy Dreamer and Rhino fought in a street fight which was awesome and brutal. Dreamer defeated Rhino but was attacked by him after match until RVD came and made the save. I kind of like what they are doing with Rhino right now. They will face off at Final Resolution in a Extreme First Blood match.
Jeff Jarrett is in one of the dumber storylines in recent memory. They are having him act like he is an MMA expert. I don't know if he really is or not but if so it's coming off really stupid. He beat Jesse Neal an in MMA "match" on Impact and wouldn't release the choke hold until Shannon Moore made the save.
Sarita beat Madison Rayne in a match but before the match all hell broke loose between the knockouts once again. It's been crazy with the Knockouts and they are doing more then they ever would in WWE. I just absolutely love it.
In the Main Event the 8 man elimination tag went to a no contest. Matt Morgan was the last man on his team until Jeff Hardy came in and hit a low blow on Morgan and took out the referee. Still no word on who Morgan has chose as his special guest referee for his match with Jeff Hardy at Final Resolution
At the end of Impact, Dixie Carter returned to know that she and Hulk Hogan are going to court over who really controls TNA Wrestling. I love the look on Hogan and Bischoffs face when they read to papers.
I love where TNA is going right now and the next few months should be awesome. Literally, it feels like you really don't know what's going to happen with the company and even the wrestlers are anxious about what's going to happen. I'd stay tuned for more.

NFL Week 12 Preview
Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoy the three football games on TV. Let's get down to business with my predictions for the week.
(7-3) Green Bay Packers at (8-2) Atlanta Falcons
Both teams are on a roll. I really enjoy watching Atlanta because they are team that no one ever really talks about. I think after Sunday when they beat the Packers people will be talking about them. Atlanta wins hands down
(5-5) Miami Dolphins at (5-5) Oakland Raiders
Two words come to mind when I think of these two teams and that's dynamic offense. Both team are a lot better then their records show. I personally enjoy watching both teams offenses but because Miami is having Quarterback problems I am going to go with the Raiders this week. They have been consistent for the most part and they will beat the Dolphins in a close one.
(7-3) Philadelphia Eagles at (7-3) Chicago Bears
I am going to keep this short and sweet and I am saying the Eagles are going to win this game. Michael Vick is DeSean Jackson are too much for any defense to handle right now. The Bears have been play exceptionally well but the Eagles have been playing better. Vick is definitely an MVP candidate this year. I give him a lot of credit for turning his life and career around.
(7-3) Tampa Bay Buccaneers at (7-3) Baltimore Ravens
This game is really hard because I honestly did not see the Bucs being that good this year. Even though they have turned out to be a good team I truly believe that they will be tested by a great team in the Ravens this week. I think the Ravens will win a very close game and I think it's going to be a nail biter. Joe Flacco is playing really good right now so I am taking the Ravens in this one.

NFL Week 11 Review
Well week 11 is in the books, and not a lot to report this week, but their were some interesting things that happened. First, I was so happy to see Big Ben get decked by Richard Seymour this week. Big Ben was showboating and paid the price. I don't agree with Seymour being ejected and escorted out by police. I thought that was too harsh.
Brad Childress has been fired and all I have to say is good riddance. He finally deserved what he got. You can stick a fork in the Vikings, and a few other teams because they have no chance of making the playoffs.
The New York Cardiac Jets like some people love to call them pulled of another miracle win again this week. Santonio Holmes, Braylon Edwards and Mark Sanchez were the heroes this week. This is the third week in a row they have pulled something like this off and I am starting to think they enjoy toying with their opponents. A part of me thinks they know what their doing. Who knows?
There are 6 weeks left and if the playoffs started today here would be the teams going from the NFC:
Atlanta
Seattle
Chicago
Green Bay
Philadelphia
Tampa Bay
You would also have to factor in that New Orleans is still hanging tough and the NFC West is garbage. Here are the teams from the AFC that would be going:
NY Jets
New England
Baltimore
Kansas City
Jacksonville
Indianapolis
The AFC is a tight race the with teams like Miami, San Diego, Oakland and, Tennessee. A lot can happen in six weeks so stay tuned. Their could be some shockers.

John Cena to MMA? I Don't Think So
Last night John Cena was "fired" from WWE as a result for not helping Wade Barrett win the WWE Title. The stipulation was if Barrett won the WWE Title Cena would be free from Nexus. If Orton retained the title Cena would be fired. Orton retained the title so Cena is fired. What people need to understand is John Cena isn't really fired, it's just part of a storyline.
Earlier this morning S.C. Michaelson from Watch Kalib Run, which is an MMA website reported that John Cena would become an MMA fighter and is setting up a fight between he and Batista. One of Cena's quotes was, "I wasn't that good a rapper, but I hustled and got a deal. I wasn't that good of a wrestler, but I earned respect and became a champion. Now I look to take all of that and become the best cage fighter I can be."
I am asking all wrestling and MMA fans to not blow this out of proportions. John Cena is not becoming an MMA fighter. What John Cena did is what they call kayfabe in the wrestling business. Kayfabe is is the portrayal of events within the industry as "real". They portray it as being genuine or not worked. It also means that the event/interview has been "kayfabed" or staged, or is part of a wrestling angle while being passed off as real or legitimate.
John Cena is and always will be a WWE Superstar. I think it's tasteless that someone who is suppose to be an MMA journalist would even believe this for a second. He obviously doesn't know the wrestling business that well. So MMA fans don't freak out, because John Cena will not be in MMA anytime soon. He is WWE for life.

Thoughts on Survivor Series
Tonight was the annual pay-per-view known as Survivor Series. The night opened with U.S. Champion Bryan Danielson taking on Ted Dibiase. It was a really solid match and I like the fact that Dibiase got rid of the Million Dollar Championship and went after some gold that he earned. Even though Danielson retained the title Dibiase will still be in the title hunt.
The second match was Sheamus going against John Morrison. I don't know what to make of this little feud going on but I like it. Morrison won the match but it was really good match. Morrison needs to get pushed harder into the WWE Title picture. He's a young Shawn Michaels and shows signs of being an untouchable performer like HBK was.
Dolph Ziggler defended his Intercontinental Title against LoKi. Loki was is a great wrestler and is a future champion. He carried the match tonight against Dolph and it show that LoKi is a very experienced wrestler and has been to the dance a few times. Ziggler retains and remains IC Champ.
The next match was a traditional Survivor Series match that pitted Team Rey Mysterio (Rey Mysterio, Kofi Kingston, MVP, Chris Masters and The Big Show) against Team Alberto Del Rio (Alberto Del Rio, Cody Rhodes, Tyler Reks, Drew McIntyre and Jack Swagger). I love the fact the that Del Rio was never officially eliminated which kept his heel heat intact. He was knocked out by the Big Show when illegally in the ring. Big Show and Rey Mysterio were the sole survivors in the match.
In a 2 on 1 Handicap Match Co-Diva Champions Layla and Michelle McCool took on Natalya. This was a short and brief match that finally saw Natalya win the Diva's title. I always thought that Michelle McCool was overrated and didn't deserve all the TV time she got. Finally a great wrestler with lots of talent is the Diva's champion. Hopefully Natalya will be champ for awhile. After the match LayCool tried beating up the new champion until Beth Phoenix made her return and celebrated with Natalya.
World Heavyweight Champion Kane takes on one of the greatest World Heavyweight Champions in Edge. Kane was without Paul Bearer and it seemed to throw him off. It was a back and forth match. Edge speared Kane and it look liked Edge won the title but both men's shoulders were down which resulted in a draw. Kane tried to destroy Edge but it was Edge who annihilated Kane after the match. I am sure we'll see more of this feud to come.
The WWE Tag Team Championship Match that had Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater against Vladimir Kozlov and Santino Marella was just an entertaining filler. Nothing to special about this match. Nexus retains the gold.
Freed or Fired and that's the choice John Cena had tonight. Cena called it right down the middle until Barrett shoved him. Then Cena shoved Barrett into the RKO and counted three which means Cena is fired from the WWE. Obviously we know it's a storyline and he's really not fired but I will be curious to see how this plays out.
Tonight was a solid effort at a decent PPV. I wasn't jumping out of my seat but the matches were solid. Nothing really surprised me so I'll give it a 6 out of 10 for a good effort. WWE needs to have the unpredictable mindset like they use to. Hopefully someday they can recreate the old motto, "Anything can happen in the WWE!" It was good to watch some of the young guys step up tonight and hopefully we will see more of that. All I got to say is RKO, Orton is still on top.

Baseball Expanding Playoffs?
There has been a lot of talks about expanding the playoffs in Major League Baseball as of recently to ten teams. However I think it should be expanded to 12 teams and here's what my proposed format would be.
Have three division winners and three wild-cards in each league. The two divisional winners with the best records get a bye and then the three wild-cards and the divisional winner with the worst record coming in plays each other. The two rounds should be best of 5, then ALCS, NLCS, and World Series be best of seven. Because think about it, look it what this years playoffs would have been like if that format was in place. Here's an example:
American League

Jimmie Johnson Wins Sprint Cup...NASCAR is Dead
The sport I once knew growing up where drivers let all hang loose and fought for championships is officially dead. People think that seeing the same guy win the championship for five years straight is good for the sport. It is absolutely horrible for the sport of NASCAR. People are now starting to compare Jimmie to some of the greatest drivers NASCAR has seen.
I got news for you Jimmie Johnson is no Petty, no Earnhardt, no Allison and anyone else in that category. If NASCAR would never started the Chase for the Cup Jimmie Johnson would have only one or two championships to his name. Kevin Harvick and Denny Hamlin dominated all season and it should came down to those two, no Johnson who pretty much sandbags until the chase begins.
NASCAR is officially dead and it's because it's not the good old boys, rednecks and fearless drivers doing the driving anymore. Back in the day, there was maybe one or two superstars. Now they have turned into a sport where everyone is a superstar due to corporate sponsors. I miss the old days of Earnhardt, Waltrip, Marlin, Jarrett, Wallace, and the guys that ran in the late 80's until the late 90's. Thoughts on the Fake NFL Uniforms
Earlier this week there were some leaked images of what everyone thought to be the new NFL Pro Combat Jerseys for 2012. A couple of days later it turned out to be that they were fake and made up by an independent artist. But what if these jerseys were actually real and they were worn in the games. I really liked the jersey designs. They are unique and each team's jersey has it's own identity. It should be noted that the NFL is distancing from these images and wants nothing to do with them. If I was the NFL I would embrace them much like the fans are. There are a lot of positive reactions to these jerseys even though they are fake. Below is a video of what the jerseys look like.

UFC 123: Epic Battle Ends in Controversial Fashion
Last night two former Light Heavyweight Champions took the Octagon to find out who could possibly be in the title hand. Lyoto Machida and Quinton Jackson had a great fight last night. The first two rounds were close but in the third Machida dominated him in my opinion. The judges scored the bout in favor of Jackson, and Jackson defeated Machida by split decision (28-29, 29-28, 29-28). I really think Machida should have been given the decision based on the third round. So where does this leave Machida? He lost but he didn't look like a loser. Will Jackson be in line for another title shot? Only time will tell.
One thing that didn't end in controversial fashion is B.J. Penn knocking out Matt Hughes in 21 seconds during the first round. Penn wins the rubber match of the two legends. I think Matt Hughes might be done. How could he comeback from that and have confidence as a fighter. Only time will tell if Matt Hughes comes back.

Thoughts on on TNA Impact and Reaction 11/18/10
It seems each week Impact gets a little crazier. This week opened up with Ric Flair calling out Matt Morgan. Flair goes nuts and challenges Morgan to a match for later on. The first match of the evening was TNA X-Division champ Robbie E., Cookie, and Generation Me taking on Jay Lethal, Velvet Sky, The Motor City Machine Guns. It was a really good fast paced match which saw Generation Me's team win the match.
Jeff Jarrett did an MMA demonstration which infuriated Samoa Joe who came out and destroyed all of Jarrett's students. The second match of the night saw TNA champion Jeff Hardy defeat Raven which meant Raven would be fired. EV2 is now down to three guys considering Rhino turned on them last week.
Shannon Moore accepted an open challenge from Abyss in a Casket Match. I've never seen a casket match end in a no contest due to interference. The Pope hid in the casket and chased Abyss out of the arena.
Mickie James vs. Angelina Love was one of the best matches I've seen out of any Diva's or Knockouts in a long time. After the match I could see Mickie saying "Wow!" She probably never had that kind of competition in the WWE. Mickie earned herself a title shot at Madison Rayne.
In the Main Event, Matt Morgan took on Ric Flair and defeated the Nature Boy. Doug Williams turned on Fortune and joined forces with Matt Morgan. Now Morgan gets to decide who the special guest referee is for his match with Jeff Hardy at Final Resolution.
On Reaction, there was a really cool street fight between MCMG and GenMe. No refs, no people, and it was a dark arena for the most part. The Guns left GenMe helpless. It was definitely unique to say the least. Another good week of Impact.

Thoughts on Finding Hulk Hogan
Last night I watched the A & E special on Finding Hulk Hogan. I have to say it was one of the most emotional documentaries I have ever watched on anyone. I am not saying because Hulk Hogan is my childhood hero but because Terry Bollea, the man has a very inspirational story. I know everything is there to know about career of Hulk Hogan but there is a lot I don't know about Terry Bollea the man.
Hulk Hogan was on a downward spiral in 2007. His son Nick was a very tragic car accident which crippled his friend for life. Hogan also went through a divorce with his wife of 23 years Linda. She decided to date a 19 year old while Hogan was left alone, depressed and helpless. Hogan credits Lalia Ali for saving his life just calling him up and asking him what was wrong. He then dusted himself off and began his comeback.
Last November he signed with TNA Wrestling as an executive and has actually wrestled a couple of matches even though it risked his health. He admitted his faults, asked forgiveness, and started a new life for himself.
A lot of people criticized Hogan for being a glory hound, a politician and a person who only looks out for himself. What people don't understand is when he made money everyone else made money. NFL Week 11 Preview
Well week eleven is upon us and there are some tough games and even tougher choices for what games to pick but here we go.
(5-4) Oakland Raiders at(6-3) Pittsburgh Steelers
The Raiders have really come around this year and are having one of their best years in a long time. However the Steelers defense is still looking great even though they lost to the Patriots on Sunday. Look for both team to come out swinging because both are in the middle are fighting to stay a top of their divisions. I am going with my least favorite team in the NFL, the Pittsburgh Steelers. Hope the refs help you out this week.
(7-2) Atlanta Falcons at (4-5) St. Louis Rams
Do not let the Rams record fool you. They are a tough team with a lot of talented players but I think the Falcons will pull it out in a very close game. They are to strong right now and I look for them to keep the momentum going this week.
(6-3) Indianapolis Colts at (7-2) New England Patriots
One of the biggest rivalries in the sports today reignites with the injury plagued Colts and the young team of the Patriots. Right now Tom Brady is playing a lot better then Peyton Manning and it will prove to be the same way this week. Brady and the Patriots will win hands down. Could it be snowing in Foxboro this weekend? That could play a factor if it does.
(6-3) New York Giants at (6-3) Philadelphia Eagles
I don't care if they have the same records, the simple fact that the Giants lost to the Cowboys is demoralizing and it crushed any momentum the Giants had. Michael Vick has been play some of the best football he's ever played in his life. I think the Eagles send the Giants packing back to New York. I still can't believe they lost to Dallas. I am still chuckling over that one.
Well be sure to check back for my review on Tuesday. I'll make it as entertaining as possible.

Thought on Old School Raw
Last night WWE gave us a real treat and that was the Old School Raw. I knew right from the beginning that it was going to be special. They used the old Raw into with the current superstars. They had the old WWF logo, the interviewing stage by entrance way and they had the old ring scheme. I loved how the mixed in the legends with the current roster. Here are the quick and non-detailed results:

During Kingston and Otunga's match George "the Animal Steele" came out and ate the turnbuckle. There was really funny backstage segment that's hard to put into words so here is the video:
Also they had the old backstage interview set up the and the old WWF studios said up that they use to run Colosseum Video out of. I couldn't forgot about good ole J.R. and him coming out to do play by play. He and King completely owned Michael Cole. I personally think Cole is not as great as his TV persona makes him out to be. I don't care how high Vince McMahon is, I've seen better.
I will go on record as saying this was probably the best Raw of the year. The ending with WWE Champion Randy Orton, John Cena and Wade Barrett on “Piper’s Pit” was awesome. It ended with Cena give the A.A. to Orton and Barrett, and Piper raised Cena's handed to end the show. If you missed this Raw, you missed a great show and something that won't be done again for awhile unless the fans demand it. I know that I was happy with what I saw on Raw for the firs time in a long time. My hats off to WWE for giving us Old School wrestling fans a special night. Maybe you should considering going back to the old ways. That's just a thought.

NFL Week 10 Review
Well 10 is in the books and the first thing is first. There are finally no win less teams in the NFL. The Buffalo Bills defeated the Detroit Lions in a game that was all over the place. Speaking of all over the place, was Michael Vick all over the field last night. He looked phenomenal once again.
I will go on record as saying that as much as I love the New York Jets, but they should have lost the last two weeks in a row to the Lions and Browns. However Mark Sanchez pulled off some heroics with Santonio Holmes in both games. Speaking of heroes, Jason Garrett probably looks like a hero in Dallas right now after beating the Giants.
The last thing I want to touch on from this week is how crazy the Titans-Dolphins games was. Four Quarterbacks got injured in one game. Tennessee lost Young and Collins, and Dolphins lost Pennington and Henne. Randy Moss wasn't very productive either. Will he be on a fourth team this year? Who knows but I am sure he couldn't have been happy with things.

William Regal Retires
Earlier this week in his home country of England, William Regal announced he was retiring once the tour in Europe was over. William Regal made his wrestling debut in August 1983 at the age of 15 years. I will always remember him as Lord Steven Regal in the days of WCW. He was a natural blue blood. In his days of WCW he teamed up with Bobby Eaton, and Dave Taylor. He was also the mentor of Jean-Paul Levesque, the man who eventually became Triple H.
I remember when came to WWE in 98 for a brief period time as the "Real Man's Man." He had some matches with some all time greats. Unfortunately due to a drug problem he had he was let go three months after being signed. He returned to WCW for a year and feuded with "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan, and the Filthy Animals. In 2000 he returned to WWE where he became commissioner. In WWE he became 4 time World Tag Team Champion, 3 time WWE Hardcore Champion, 2 time Intercontinental Champion, 4 time European Champion, and 2008 King of the Ring. He also been instrumental in the training of Bryan Danielson, Brian Kendrick CM Punk, Chris Hero, and Samoa Joe. All of these men have been very successful in their careers so far.
I think William Regal will go down as one of the greatest European wrestlers of all time. He was consistently on TV for eighteen years and had solid matches every time he was out there. He was also apart of some great storylines and memorable moments in WWE.
With that being said, I would congratulate William Regal on a wonderful wrestling career and hope he is successful in whatever he does next. Thanks for all those years of the Power of the Punch. It definitely came in handy when things got rough. William Regal, you're impact on pro wrestling will never be forgotten.

NFL Week 10 Preview
Well week 10 is here and with that begins Thursday games. So lets get down to it. Here are my picks for the week.
(6-2) Baltimore Ravens at (6-2) Atlanta Falcons
Both teams are hot right now. Both have been winning very close games. I think I am going to have to go with Atlanta this week. They have a lot of poise behind them and are running away with the NFC South. Baltimore is great but Atlanta will be better this week.
(5-3) Tennessee Titans at (4-4) Miami Dolphins
A lot of things to look forward in this one. The Titans have added Randy Moss and the Dolphins named Chad Pennington starting QB this week. I think Moss will be motivated and if not Jeff Fisher will get him motivated. I think Tennessee wins behind Young, Moss and Johnson. Look for an explosive game offensively for both teams.
(6-2) New England Patriots at (6-2) Pittsburgh Steelers
I personally don't like either team so I am going to make this short and sweet. The Steelers defense will dominate the Patriots offense. The defense for Pittsburgh is too experienced and too good at what they do screw a game up like this. Brady won't know what hit him come Sunday.
(5-3) Philadelphia Eagles at (4-4) Washington Redskins
McNabb plays his old team again or does he? A lot of controversy in Washington so I am saying Philly wins, but if Grossman starts they will get blown out by the Philly defense. Vick and Jackson is the most lethal combination in the NFL right now and they will prove that again this Monday Night. Philly wins a in a landslide, massacre, and a beat-down on top of it.
Finally, Thank God the Saints have a bye week. I don't have to listen to everyone rant and rave about how supposedly great they are. Mark my words, they won't be in the playoffs. Check back on Tuesday for the week in review.

Both teams are hot right now. Both have been winning very close games. I think I am going to have to go with Atlanta this week. They have a lot of poise behind them and are running away with the NFC South. Baltimore is great but Atlanta will be better this week.
(5-3) Tennessee Titans at (4-4) Miami Dolphins
A lot of things to look forward in this one. The Titans have added Randy Moss and the Dolphins named Chad Pennington starting QB this week. I think Moss will be motivated and if not Jeff Fisher will get him motivated. I think Tennessee wins behind Young, Moss and Johnson. Look for an explosive game offensively for both teams.
(6-2) New England Patriots at (6-2) Pittsburgh Steelers
I personally don't like either team so I am going to make this short and sweet. The Steelers defense will dominate the Patriots offense. The defense for Pittsburgh is too experienced and too good at what they do screw a game up like this. Brady won't know what hit him come Sunday.
(5-3) Philadelphia Eagles at (4-4) Washington Redskins
McNabb plays his old team again or does he? A lot of controversy in Washington so I am saying Philly wins, but if Grossman starts they will get blown out by the Philly defense. Vick and Jackson is the most lethal combination in the NFL right now and they will prove that again this Monday Night. Philly wins a in a landslide, massacre, and a beat-down on top of it.
Finally, Thank God the Saints have a bye week. I don't have to listen to everyone rant and rave about how supposedly great they are. Mark my words, they won't be in the playoffs. Check back on Tuesday for the week in review.

NFL Week 9 Review
Well I would first like to go on record and say that this was one of worst weeks in football when it came to officiating that I have seen in a long time. A lot of games were determined by how bad the officiating was. Some of things that were shocking were the Lions almost beating the Jets. The thing I don't understand is why Suh came on to kick an extra point. I know he is a former soccer player but the punter should have came on to kick it.
The Cleveland Browns put a beat down on the New England Patriots which shocked me. Colt McCoy definitely looks he is going to be long term in Cleveland and hey he might even replace Lebron James as the new face of Cleveland. One can only hope.
Randy Moss is gone from Minnesota but the Vikings managed to win a very close game against the Cardinals in OT. There is a lot of turmoil in Minnesota right now with the players and coach Brad Childress. However there is much more turmoil in Dallas now that the 1-7 Cowboys fired their coach Wade Phillips. Jason Garrett is taking over for now but what will become of the Cowboys? Only time will tell to see what happens.

Well another crazy and exciting weekend in College Football. There were a few upsets again this week that included Texas A&M over 8 Oklahoma, Texas Tech over 12 Missouri, North Carolina over 24 Florida St., and Clemson over 25 North Carolina St. There are some big time games this week that might lead to some shakeups in the standings again.

Thoughts on TNA Turning Point
Last night it was indeed a Turning Point for TNA. The first match of the evening was Jay Lethal defending the X Division title against Robbie E with Cookie. This was a great back and forth match. These two definitely have some chemistry in the ring together. Eventually, Cookie's interference allowed Robbie E win the match and become the new X Division champion.
The next match was a rehashing of an WWE feud, which was between Mickie James and Tara (formerly known as Victoria in WWE). These did so much more last night that they would have never done in WWE. The match went to a no contest but they were brawling all night even during The Pope's interview segment. I believe this rivalry is far from over.
Up next is The Motor City Machine Guns vs. Team 3D. This was definitely the match of the night. MCMG have been having great matches with everyone lately but this one was special because it was Team 3D's last match as a tag team, at least for now anyways. It was bloody, brutal, and it was what TNA stood for, Total Non-Stop Action. The Guns won but Team 3D definitely has left a lasting legacy on tag team wrestling. If you missed this match, I would try and find it so you can watch what tag team wrestling is all about.
The next match was something I thought I would never see again, and that would RVD vs. Tommy Dreamer. What a physical back and forth contest between both men. Dreamer seemed to have broken his wrist during the match but kept fighting back. RVD eventually hit the 5-Star Frog Splash and beat Dreamer. After the match, they shook hands and left the ring together.
Next up was EV2 vs. Fortune and this match got ugly real quick. Brian Kendrick got taken out within the first couple of minutes with a really nasty knee injury. Even James Storm broke character to make sure he was okay. This was a solid match but you knew that no one from Fortune was going to get fired. EV2 lost and unfortunately Sabu is fired from TNA.
Abyss vs. The Pope was extremely entertaining because The Pope's congregation for his Lumberback Match happen to be his brother and all of his friends from Brooklyn. Pope had the advantage until Bischoff came out and showed the money sign. This prompted Pope's brother to attack him from behind. Abyss hit the Black Hole Slam for the win. Abyss along with the paid off congregation celebrated on their way to the back.
Samoa Joe was on a mission to destroy Jeff Jarrett last night and it would have happened if it wasn't for the Gunner and Murphy getting involved in the match. Jarrett won the match after beating Joe down with a bat and choking him out with Joe's own finisher. This feud is far from over between Joe and Jarrett.
The Main Event of the evening happened to be Matt Morgan going after the TNA World Title which Jeff Hardy has. The match was really good and I was really surprise Hardy got a clean win. I thought for sure someone was going to interfere in the match but no one did. After the match Fortune/Immortal came out to celebrate and the show ended.
I would say it was definitely another solid PPV for TNA. I don't think they have had one bad PPV all year. What they lack on TV sometimes, they make up for during their PPV's. I will be curious to see what they do on Impact this week.

Thoughts on on TNA Impact and Reaction 11/4/10
Well this week on Impact saw a lot of conflict within two groups. Fortune has already lost one man in Matt Morgan, but will Doug Williams be next. He and Kazarian had a great match but due to James Storm's distraction Kazarian picked up the win. Williams and Kazarian were still going at it verbally until Ric Flair came in and calmed everyone down.
Rhino and RVD took part in a triple threat match that also involved A.J. Styles. A.J. won due to Rhino and RVD arguing. After the match RVD and Rhino got into it, but Tommy Dreamer broke it up. Tommy Dreamer told RVD he was acting crazy and now they will have a match at Turning Point this Sunday.
I really enjoyed the 6-person tag that had GenMe and Tara take on Ink Inc with Mickie James. Ink Inc and James got the win but took the beat down after the match. Maybe that's a sign of things to come in the tag team division.
Also the segments with Eric Young and Orlando Jordan were absolutely hilarious. I like the MCMG and Team 3D segment as well. A lot of respect between both teams headed into this Sunday's PPV.
The last part of Impact had Matt Morgan kick Eric Bischoff's face in, which allowed Morgan to sign the contract to face Jeff Hardy this Sunday for the TNA World Heavyweight Title.

Remembering Sparky Anderson
Two nights ago when I learned of the passing of former Tiger manager I shed a tear or two. Growing up as a kid, my first memories of Tigers baseball were of Sparky Anderson. He was a constant professional, and always demanded the best out of his players. He had a certain look about him that made him look tough however that was not who he was. A lot of things I have read, suggest that Sparky was honest, loyal and a good man.
Sparky Anderson managed for 25 years for the Cincinnati Reds (1970–1978), and the Detroit Tigers (1979–1995). He won three World Series(1975, 1976, 1984) and was named AL Manager of the Year two times(1984, 1987). Sparky's greatest accomplishment was being inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2000, something he was very proud of. His all time managerial record is 2,194–1,834. Probably the greatest feat in my opinion that Sparky was becoming the first manager to win a World Series for both a National League and American League team. Only one person has done it since and that's Tony La Russa.
Sparky Anderson had a a great life, and a great career as a manager. He is respected by anyone who has ever been around Major League Baseball when he was. Here is a clip of one of my favorite moments that I wasn't even alive for yet, but I love seeing this video.

Kevin Garnetts Comments at Charlie Villanueva
Two nights ago, the Celtics completely blew out the Pistons but the bigger story is what happened is what Charlie Villanueva posted on his twitter which said, "KG called me a cancer patient, I'm pissed because, u know how many people died from cancer, and he's tossing it like it's a joke." All I got to say is wow. I knew KG has a big mouth and is a complainer but I didn't think he would go that far.
This is what Kevin Garnett had to say in a statement, "My comment to Charlie Villanueva was in fact 'You are cancerous to your team and our league,'" He then added, "I would never be insensitive to the brave struggle that cancer patients endure. I have lost loved ones to this deadly disease and have a family member currently undergoing treatment. I would never say anything that distasteful. The game of life is far bigger than the game of basketball."
My thought it is, if that's what KG meant then he should have used a better choice of words, because Charlie V suffers from a skin disease called alopecia universalis, a medical condition that results in hair loss. The thing of it is, don't cancer patients lose their hair sometimes when going through chemo? Yes they do so for KG to even make that statement is just horrible. I really think that KG should be fined for those comments and possible even have a 1 or 2 game suspension. The guy has always had a big mouth and has always been a complainer so it's about time he be punished it for it.

Moss and Merriman Find New Homes
Yesterday two of the most talented players in the NFL found new homes. Randy Moss who was just waived by the Vikings only four weeks after being acquired by them was picked up by the Titans. The reason for Moss' sudden release still isn't clear cut. The word going around that he blew up at a catering service who was serving food. The other parts I was hearing is he was unhappy from the time he got there and wasn't playing his hardest. I've heard all of sorts of things but people are now starting to look at Brad Childress as the problem. It's no secret that he doesn't have the respect of certain players. The biggest mistake Childress made was going to down south last year and getting Brett Favre. There has been so much drama since Favre started last year it's ridiculous. The drama didn't show itself last season but it sure is this year. Don't believe me, just look at their record. Moss may have a new home with the Titans but how much longer will Childress have with the Vikings?
Shawne Merriman who was the defensive star for the Chargers has been in trouble and injured. The Chargers couldn't take anymore so they released him. He now is a Buffalo Bill for the rest of the year. He went from bad to worst but he promised to play his hardest and be a good teammate. Only time will tell to see how Merriman does.
Be sure to watch these two guys the next few weeks to see how they fit and if they progress with their new teams. They are both dynamic personalities and can either help or hurt their respective teams. The Titans have gotten better with this move and the Bills get a little bit of a defensive upgrade. Linda McMahon Loses Senate Race in Connecticut
Former WWE CEO Linda McMahon lost her Senate race in the state of Connecticut last night to opponent Richard Blumenthal. Linda McMahon spent 50 million dollars on her campaign over the last 14 months. However I am not here to talk about the political aspect of this. I am wondering about the WWE aspect of this. Will the WWE now go back to it's old rating of TV14 and will Linda McMahon come back to the WWE?
I know as a WWE fan, I am sort of happy she lost because now the WWE can go back to doing what it did before. WWE needs to go back to the old ways of blood, sweat and tears much like TNA is right now. You can only imagine how angry Vince McMahon is right now. Not only did he lose out on 50 million dollars. He has also lost viewers over the last 14 months due to this PG crap that WWE has been doing.
The biggest thing is that the WWE did wrong is launched it's "Stand up for WWE" campaign way too late. They should have launched that campaign many months ago before the election was even close to happening.

NFL Week 9 Preview
Some of the biggest questions heading into this week are, will Randy Moss find a new team? And will Donovan McNabb start for the Redskins. There a lot of messes going on in the NFL right now and it will be interesting to see how they get cleaned up. Here are my predictions for the week.
(5-2) Tampa Bay Buccaneers at (5-2) Atlanta Falcons
The Bucs have really come on strong this year beating teams that I didn't think they would beat. However Atlanta has got a great healthy team that will probably with the NFC South. I think Atlanta will win just by default. They are at home and their playing Bucs team that is still pretty young. I wouldn't count them completely out though.
(4-3) Miami Dolphins at (5-2) Baltimore Ravens
Miami has been playing solid football all year and have had some tough games against some tough opponents. Baltimore on the other hand has played tough defense again this year. Their offense has gotten so much better. I think when this game is all said and done, the Ravens defense is going to get to Chad Henne and the Ravens will win the game.
(5-2) Kansas City Chiefs at (4-4) Oakland Raiders
I never thought I would be talking about Oakland Raiders but I am. They have been crushing people these last few weeks and their offense has come alive. Kansas City has a really dynamic offense and a pretty good defense. Their record is not a fluke. This week I think Oakland is going to keep their momentum going and they will beat the Chiefs this week. If you think I am crazy they have outscored their opponents 92-17 in the last two weeks. They also haven't lost by much in the games they have lost. Raider nation gets another victory this week.
(5-2) Pittsburgh Steelers at (2-5) Cincinnati Bengals
The fact that the Bengals are 2-5 is just weird to me. They have a great team, with two of the best receivers in the game. I really think because this is a division rival that the Bengals will be motivated to win the game. They are due for a win and this week they will get one.

I think Atlanta will win just by default. They are at home and their playing Bucs team that is still pretty young. I wouldn't count them completely out though.
(4-3) Miami Dolphins at (5-2) Baltimore Ravens
Miami has been playing solid football all year and have had some tough games against some tough opponents. Baltimore on the other hand has played tough defense again this year. Their offense has gotten so much better. I think when this game is all said and done, the Ravens defense is going to get to Chad Henne and the Ravens will win the game.
(5-2) Kansas City Chiefs at (4-4) Oakland Raiders
I never thought I would be talking about Oakland Raiders but I am. They have been crushing people these last few weeks and their offense has come alive. Kansas City has a really dynamic offense and a pretty good defense. Their record is not a fluke. This week I think Oakland is going to keep their momentum going and they will beat the Chiefs this week. If you think I am crazy they have outscored their opponents 92-17 in the last two weeks. They also haven't lost by much in the games they have lost. Raider nation gets another victory this week.
(5-2) Pittsburgh Steelers at (2-5) Cincinnati Bengals
The fact that the Bengals are 2-5 is just weird to me. They have a great team, with two of the best receivers in the game. I really think because this is a division rival that the Bengals will be motivated to win the game. They are due for a win and this week they will get one.

NFL Week 8 Review
This has to be the absolute weirdest year in football history or so it seems. The Dallas Cowboys have a worst record then the Detroit Lions. Brett Favre just needs to go home and call it quits, and Randy Moss has now been let go by two teams this year. What in the heck is going on?
I was really surprised to see the Jets lose to the Packers. It was an absolute boring game the featured no offense and plenty of defense. I was really surprised to see Donovan McNabb get benched with two minutes left to play in the game against Detroit. Mike Shanahan was full of excuses on that one. Lets see how McNabb reacts this week.
I am going to say it again, Brett Favre needs to retire. He's old, injured and not effective anymore. He should have never come back and since he has he's destroying is legacy and his character. Yes, I said character because of the whole Jen Sterger thing going on. He needs to be done and call it a career.
Randy Moss ran his mouth again and it's landed him in the unemployment line. I will be very curious to see if and what team decides to pick him up. Randy Moss is a great football player but unfortunately he has been too much of a problem every where he has went.
Other then those big stories, not much to report this week. Well I suppose I will give the Saints some credit, as they beat another team I strongly dislike, the Steelers. I will say it again though, the Saints are overrated. The Steelers well they have the officials in their back pockets. That's all I am going to say. Thoughts on the Stand Up for WWE Campaign
Over the last few weeks I've been watching all these videos for the new "Stand Up for WWE" campaign. I've been a life long wrestling fan and have always felt the pro wrestling industry was unfairly criticized for how it was presented on TV.
If you were to ask me do I think WWE is the better wrestling company right now? I would say no. WWE does not listen to their fans, does not go out of there was as much as TNA wrestling does for their fans. Yes, WWE does a lot for charity, the soldiers and Make A Wish Foundation so I do applaud them for that. I think WWE trying to get the message across that pro wrestling isn't a bad thing and that is a very honorable thing.
I like how they are showing everyone who works behind the scenes and how they feel about their jobs in WWE. People, who aren't even shown on camera love working WWE and feel like family. Aside from my feelings on what's presented on WWE TV each week I applaud WWE for educating people on pro wrestling and how it's ran. There are a lot of honest, hard working people that work for the WWE and they shouldn't be criticized for what they do. Will I stand specifically for WWE? No, but I will stand up for pro wrestling all the time.

College Football Weekly
Well this week the number one team did win and they still knocked out of the number one spot. Another shakeup occurred as a lot of top teams lost again. Here are some of the things that happen.
